Well, Im nearly finished and it feels great!
What DOES NOT feeel great is that I have worked 36 hours at work in the last 3 days AS WELL AS working on Uni stuff... I think my brain could be confused with a sultana right about now... MMmmm Sultanas.... Super hungry right now because Im too lazy to cook dinner...
My housemate did make me some Pumpernickel and cheese tho, so Im a little better now.
Anyways, better get to finishing this assignment.... Hope everyone (including myself) does well!

I just realised I haven't posted what my 3 ICTs are going to be!
ICT(1) - Publisher
ICT(2) - Audacity
ICT(3) - Google/web searches
The activities are aimed at Year 7
Students are going to be constructing a review of an item of their choice (book, movie, game, cd etc). They will first construct it as an article in a newspaper/magazine in Publisher (with headings, images, by-lies etc).
Students with be using the WWW to search for RELEVANT images to include in this written format.
Students will then use Audacity to transform their written review into a spoken review (with a radio audience). The spoken review should include relevant sound clips and appropriate editing.
Ultimately, students' written reviews will be submitted to the school's newspaper and their spoke reviews saves to a CD and placed in the school library for student reference, giving the task a real life context.

Long Blog entry is LONG!
Well I think I have my wiki in order....
Just need to add the content... (im still working on that... lol)
I've found it quite a challange to play around with LearnJCU's wiki tool, as I'm used to writing the code rather than 'point and click' style editing. Also the HTML editor tool on the Wiki is SHOCKING?!?! It just makes ONE BIG JUMBLE of html code, NO BREAKS! makes it almost impossible to find where things are....
Oh well... that my whine over. On a Happier Note!
What a crazy crazy assignment... Maybe I should practice what I preach and NOT leave my assignments until the last day...
(O.o)
Not that Im doing that with my Tech assignment!! Its not due for a WEEK!

ANYWAYS!!
On a (technological) side note, here is a pic of my new computer! It is AWESOME!
Thats the graphics card being held there!!
Although I'm having some trouble with Windows Vista trying to CONSTANTLY second guess/undermine my decisions (My house mate tells me my Vista has no confidence in my decision making skills whatsoever... oh noes!)
I guess it's like going from a manual to an automatic transmission car... And I haven't even TRIED to network it to my XP machine yet... Ahh that's a day-long task set for after exams are finished...
Speaking of exams... ONLY 2 more weeks! D'OH!
Ok... going back to work on Tech portfolio now.... will keep this blog posted on my progress!
